At the flagship stores of Sport Chek, Canada’s largest sporting goods retailer and a store of the future, there’s a lot of technology on display: treadmills set up to perform gait analysis; interactive 3D hologram displays; informational displays activated by the proximity of RFID-enabled sneakers. Yet no matter how high tech its stores are, the retailer works hard to target the customer with all its technologies and services.

The digital display technology used by Sport Chek is provided by NanoLumens, which provides the color, vividness and brightness needed for the digital “monoliths” in Vancouver and Toronto, as well as smaller displays throughout the stores. “Our in-store experience is world-class and cutting-edge, and our partners have to be industry leaders,” said Boguski. “This technology helps
us to tell the story the way we want to our customers.”
