Tier 1 Service Technician

NanoLumens is seeking a Tier 1 Service Technician who will be an integral member of our fantastic operations team. This position will be based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. Candidates should exemplify the vision, integrity, passion and excellence of the NanoLumens brand.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Daily Fieldpoint updates
  • Daily response to phone calls and emails
  • Submitting, tracking and monitoring purchase orders
  • Coordinate schedules for Tier 3 service calls
  • Understand scope of service ticket from start to finish
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support to customer
  • Close 80% of all tickets at the Tier 1 level
  • Document and file all paperwork, reports, and databases necessary for service ticket tracking
  • Prepare O&M documents for PM approval and release
  • Track RMA progression and give customer proactive feedback through RMA process
  • Efficiently schedule all resources
  • All other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred but not required
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Experience with Fieldpoint software
  • 3+ years’ experience in T/S and fault analysis
  • 3+ years of Customer Service phone support
  • Experience working directly with customers providing technical support

Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Sales/Systems Engineer

NanoLumens is seeking a Sales/Systems Engineer to both monitor and guide sales opportunities from a technical standpoint.  This position will be responsible for ensuring that the line of communication between customers, sales staff, and manufacturing is proceeding correctly to guide the project to its successful completion.  Strong communication skills are a must in this role with a focus of customer service while protecting the project’s profitability.

Primary Responsibilities include:

      • Maintain a consistent dialog with all of the salespeople in your territory regarding upcoming projects.
      • Offer solutions for new opportunities that may not have been considered.
      • Maintain a knowledge of current product availability and timelines associated with them.
      • Maintain a knowledge of competitor’s products and how we compare or differ when competing for sales.
      • Recommend support hardware to the Vice President of Systems Engineering when coming across something new.
      • Consult with the salespeople in your territory about their needs to better serve sales and maintain customers. Report these findings to the Director of Systems Engineering for discussion and action.
      • Build and maintain documents outlining job requirements and exposing loose ends that need repair before the project goes to production.
      • Communicate regularly with the regional Sales VP’s and VP of Systems Engineering to express concerns and suggestions pertaining to projects in the pipeline.
      • Maintain an air of “here to help” rather than “here to regulate”.
      • Perform a closing meeting with sales personnel regarding closed business for the purposes of gathering all pertinent/available information on the sale.
      • Represent the sales team as the technical authority in kickoff meetings, using the Vice President of Systems Engineering assistance where needed.
      • Make yourself the first line of contact for anything a salesperson needs.
      • Travel up to 50% for demos and sales presentations.

Experience:

Engineering background strongly preferred.

Education:

Technical degree or comparable technical work experience.

Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

      • An understanding of AV systems in general and a willingness to learn how we go to market
      • Strong self-starting work ethic
      • Knowledge of SolidWorks and CorelDRAW
      • Work history in AV integration a plus

Regional Sales Manager 

NanoLumens is looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

Primary Responsibilities include:

      • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
      • Call on AV Integrators, end users, AV Consultants as well as architects
      • Work closely with NanoLumens Business Development team to ensure all prospects in the territory are being fully vetted and are converted
      • RSM must take full responsibility for driving NanoLumens name brand recognition in the territory
      • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
      • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
      • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
      • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
      • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
      • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
      • Continuously improve through feedback 

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a sales representative.

Education:

BS/BA degree or equivalent – technical/engineering degree is preferred but not required

Will consider relevant experience a substitute in some cases.

Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

      • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
      • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
      • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
      • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
      • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
      • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
      • We are looking for a proven closer that is willing to take 100% responsibility for this territory and drive top line revenue
