Executive Assistant

NanoLumens is seeking an Executive Assistant to support our team. You will manage business related tasks such as creating reports, organizing travel and accommodations and other organizational tasks. Qualified candidates should have a strong understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, excellent problem solving skills and prior experience in an executive assistant role.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare documents for executive meetings
  • Answer phone and route calls to the appropriate department
  • Prepare meeting space, order lunches, etc.
  • Greet visitors
  • Make travel arrangements

Job Requirements:

Senior Accountant

We have a full-time opportunity with benefits for someone seeking a position is an exciting company with a fast pace environment.

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the monthly close process.  This entails ensuring timely and accurate account reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close process
  • Timely and accurate completion of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Produce budget vs actual results and explanation of material variances
  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
  • Assist with companywide implementation of new systems and procedures
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Assist with independent audit

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
  • Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel to include pivot tables, v-lookups and sum-if highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both in content and response time
  • Strong understanding of a chart of accounts and departmental costing
  • Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment
  • Quickbooks experience is a plus

Marketing Automation Specialist

NanoLumens is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Vice-President Marketing & Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing demand generation, sales enablement and lead nurturing campaigns that touch multiple points across the top of the funnel including: set-up, deployment and management of automated marketing campaigns, as well reporting successes and monthly analytics for the Marketing and Business Development teams. This position will be multi-disciplinary, adapting in the growth-stage company environment as needs and priorities change.

This includes:

  • building B2B campaigns that find success in lead generation as well as enable focused touch points across the opportunity stages through the use of marketing automation, sales enablement, Salesforce, and other tools;
  • launching and optimizing e-mail campaigns to drive short-term and long-term results via e-mail template setup, campaign setup, testing, scheduling, tracking, and post-campaign measurement;
  • minimizing list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the performance of e-mail sends;
  • designing and implementing test plans (g., A/B and multivariate) to understand drivers of response and value;
  • maintaining the marketing automation platform, including scoring, multi-touch drip and nurture e-mails, profiling, segmentation, scoring and workflows;
  • maintaining an ongoing content calendar that aligns with current and future marketing programs;
  • setting campaign goals, analyzing workflow process as well as providing business intelligence utilizing marketing and sales data; and
  • contributing to the development of the direction for Marketing and Business Development.

Additionally, due to the ever-changing and sometimes chaotic environment of a growth-stage technology company, the Marketing Automation Specialist may assume additional roles and responsibilities as the company requires.

This position will work internally with, and support, Sales, Marketing and Business Development.

Business travel will not be required

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, with specific experience in:

  • Pardot and Salesforce.com; and/or
  • other marketing automation tools (e.g., Hubspot); and/or
  • sales enablement tools (e.g., DiscoverOrg).

ABM experience and fluency in foreign language(s) are considered assets.

Education:

University degree in marketing, business or a related field.

Will consider relevant experience a substitute in some cases.
