It is late December, and the holiday season is very much upon us. The various holidays celebrated during this part of the calendar have vastly different traditions involved in each of them, but it’s what they have in common that makes this time of year particularly special. Though the formalities of each holiday differ wildly, the spirit of each is kindred. It’s hard to quantify, but the last weeks of the year always bring with them some sort of universal bend towards communal consolidation, though perhaps consolidation isn’t quite the right word. ‘Coalescing’ works in its place, and maybe ‘gathering’ does too. Whichever word works best, just know that this time of year involves things coming together. Families gather from far away distances, balls of snow are rolled into larger balls of snow and then stacked on top of still larger balls of snow, and the drawers of filing cabinets are finally returned to their shut positions as the year’s projects are finalized. There are also lots of hugs given, that’s important too.

One of the reasons we at NanoLumens do what we do is because we value this sort of communal consolidation, or coalescing, or whatever you want to call it. We design our LED displays with the goal of drawing audiences in, partly because we believe our partners have messages worth sharing, but also because our entire company philosophy rests on the notion that the best things in life are a result of people coming together. Differences abound, but NanoLumens holds strong that collectively, we are better together. So as 2017 draws to a close, we at NanoLumens wish a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a cordial consolidation, and a gracious gathering to both all we work with and all we as-of-yet do not. However you celebrate late December, we wish you and yours the warmest of tidings. Happy Holidays!
