With the holiday season in full swing and as the year comes to a close, it’s natural to take a look back at the year that was. 2018 has been a good year for NanoLumens. We won a diverse array of awards, broke into a few exciting new verticals, and set the table for an even stronger 2019. We built some fascinatingly creative installations this year for clients in airports, corporate headquarters, government facilities, and plenty of other venues. The coolest airport install is of course the one we did with Charlotte Douglas International, where we partnered with a renowned data artist to create an unforgettable digital spectacle. Our most interesting headquarters project is likely the one we did with McCormick, who included our technology as part of a full overhaul of their space. The best governmental feature in many minds is the small but powerful columns we built for Melbourne’s city hall. Unique in its shape and arrangement, the Melbourne installation has given new energy to the city’s history. Though different in countless ways, each of these installs reflect NanoLumens desire to get as outside of the box as possible. We’re so much more than your average off-the-shelf display company, and our work in 2018 proves that.
Now, as members of the NanoLumens team get ready for the holidays, we’d like to encourage all our partners and customers to think outside the box too. Literally. The focus of the holidays is not supposed to be about the presents inside the boxes you receive, but what’s outside and around them; namely, your family and friends. The holidays celebrated during this part of the calendar have vastly different traditions involved in each of them, but it’s what they have in common that makes this time of year particularly special. So forget about the boxes, and focus on what really makes this season special. The NanoLumens family wishes everyone a happy and safe holiday season. Happy New Year! See you in 2019.
