Nanolumens’ enhanced Nixel Series to debut at InfoComm 2026 with streamlined installation, improved serviceability and expanded Aurora compatibility for fine-pixel-pitch LED applications
ATLANTA (June 1, 2026) — Nanolumens, an industry-leading manufacturer and designer of cutting-edge LED displays and video wall solutions, announces the next generation of its indoor flexible curve Nixel Series, introducing a refined product architecture focused on fine-pixel-pitch applications, simplified installation and improved serviceability for AV integrators and system designers. The next-generation Nixel Series will make its debut in North Hall booth #N7321 at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas.
The revitalized Nixel Series enhances Nanolumens’ curvable LED display platform with an advanced architecture designed for fine-pixel-pitch applications and greater deployment adaptability. The updated platform uses a unified module structure that supports both flat and curved display configurations, giving integrators more flexibility across a range of architectural environments. The Nixel Series’ enhancements are designed to simplify specification, installation and long-term service while maintaining seamless visual performance.
The Nixel Series features patented flexible LED displays engineered to support seamless concave and convex curves without visible bezels or faceting. Designed for architectural installations, transportation hubs, arenas and experiential environments, the Nixel Series supports both True Curve™ and flat display topologies using the same module system. The cabinet-less design maximizes adaptability in the field while reducing mechanical complexity behind the display surface. Nanolumens’ approach enables integrators to create custom curved and flat installations using a more consistent deployment methodology.
“Since its introduction nearly 20 years ago, Nixel Series has been the solution for countless uniquely shaped display installations, literally bending to the needs of complex architectural designs, and overcoming those challenges,” said Kurt DeYoung, chief revenue officer for Nanolumens. “The new generation builds on that vast experience and maximizes overall advancements in LED display technology over that time. It offers a more streamlined and adaptable platform that simplifies installation, improves serviceability and gives integrators greater flexibility in the field while maintaining the seamless curved visual performance the Nixel Series is known for.”
The next-generation indoor Nixel Series is focused on closer viewing distances with pixel pitch options ranging from 0.9mm to 2.5mm. For increased ruggedization and durability, each of the new models has standard Glue-On-Board (GOB) protection. To reduce installation complexity and improve service efficiency, the new Nixel Series also introduces color-coded cabling. Combined with its patented skin-and-frame-topology and cabinet-less modular design, the updates support faster onsite deployment and more adaptable installation workflows. The Nixel Series’ modular architecture allows integrators to make adjustments more efficiently in custom or nonstandard environments.
The next-generation Nixel Series expands video processing compatibility with Nanolumens’ Aurora platform, enabling a more unified display and processing solution. The TAA-compliant Aurora platform delivers 23-bit true-to-source color, precise motion handling and file-less content management designed for environments that require consistent and accurate visual performance. With Aurora compatibility, organizations deploying Nixel Series displays can standardize on a single processing platform across multiple Nanolumens technologies while simplifying system design and deployment. The compatibility supports Nanolumens’ emphasis on aligning display and processing technologies within a more cohesive ecosystem.
The new Nixel Series models are expected to be available for order Q1 2027.
